It's been a month since it was unveiled at the Tokyo Game Show 2011 and I'm still wondering how I could I have been so blind to such tremendous news. Anyway, to those of you who didn't believe, to those of you who thought that it wasn't possible, here it is: A sequel has been announced for Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors!. The new game is called 極限脱出ADV 善人シボウデスGyokugen Dasshutsu Adv: Zennin Shiboudes, which translated from Japanese, roughly means "Extreme Escape Adventure: Good People Die". The game features an entirely new cast (well, maybe except Zero) and a shiny new protagonist, Sigma. Sigma is only one of the 9 new poor suckers kidnapped and forced to play the Nonary Game.
Wait, Good People Die?! You learn straight from the title that not everyone is going to make it. Also, it's not just any-people-die, it's Good People Die. Huh? Didn't we learn from the *spoiler alert* True Ending that it's only the bad people that die?
Sigma isn't the only character that has been revealed yet. Another character named Phi (don't question the Greek names) is a girl whose calm and collectiveness will probably serve as foil to Sigma's fiery and upbeat personality. Did I mention that she also has an uncanny resemblance to Santa?
