"This nuclear reactor automatically supplies electricity for years without any extra input."
— Akane, after reading the manual

The Power Room is an escape room that is found within the Ambidex fragment for C-Team. Its most notable feature is a massive nuclear reactor in the middle of the room. It can only be accessed after escaping from the Rec Room and is searched by Carlos, Akane Kurashiki, and Junpei Tenmyouji.

Layout[]

The facility is powered by the nuclear reactor found in this room. The self-regulating system can run for years without maintenance.

Story[]

Carlos, Akane, and Junpei wake up in this room, which is set at -10 degrees Celsius. The computer panels for the reactor and two lockers do not have power. There are two sinks, but no water is flowing to them, and there are exposed wires coming off a box on one wall.

Items[]

Block of tin[]

BlockOfTin

The block of tin is found in the bottom cabinet of the right locker.

It can be placed in the left hole in the furnace on the left to unlock the furnace door.

Freezing extinguisher[]

FreezingExtinguisher

The freezing extinguisher is found in the top cabinet of the right locker.

It is used to freeze the water in the drainage ditch after completing the Wires minigame.

Key[]

Key

The key can be found after lighting the furnace on the left.

It is used on the keyhole under the lever to allow the lever to be pulled.

Matches[]

Matches

The matches are found on the floor in front of the power distribution panel.

They can be used to light both of the furnaces in the room.

Sink plug (x2)[]

SinkPlug

The sink plugs are found after completing the Rectangle Rotate puzzle, located in the bottom of the left locker.

They can be placed in each of the sinks to cause an overflow.

Steel mold[]

SteelMold

The steel mold is found in the top cabinet of the left locker.

It can be placed in the right hole in the furnace on the left to unlock the furnace door.

Minigames[]

Rectangle Rotate[]

One side has a blue circle in the center. The other side has a pink circle in the center.

Greek Alphabet[]

GreekAlphabetPuzzle

Correct placement.

Not a single piece needs to be rotated.

For the top row, make it look similar to "BEAX".

Lasers[]

LaserComplete

The laser puzzle complete.

  • 1st row: Up all the way
  • 3rd row: Down one
  • 6th row: Down all the way
  • 7th row: Down twice

Decision Game[]

SPOILER WARNING
Carlos and Junpei play the AB Game, but with different numbers used. Like the version played in 2074, everyone starts with 3 points, the first person to 9 wins, and anyone at 0 is killed by their bracelet, and neither player gains or loses points if they both pick "Betray". Unlike the 2074 version, there are only two players (therefore two Solos against one another), both players picking "Ally" will net them both 3 points, while one person choosing to "Ally" and another choosing to "Betray" will result in point total changes of +6 and -3, respectively. Furthermore, if Junpei is killed by his bracelet, Akane and Phi will be killed as well. If Carlos is killed, Diana and Sigma will be die.

No matter what Carlos (controlled by the player) picks, Junpei picks the opposite. Only after both of these scenarios have been viewed, Carlos's consciousness will SHIFT back to right before the AB Game, when Junpei is telling him the story about Akane in the rabbit hutch. Carlos will finish the story for him, which confuses Junpei. Akane will wake up, and explain SHIFT and the Reverie Syndrome to him, after which Akane rigs the reactor to explode, causing all three of them to SHIFT, avoiding the AB Game entirely.

Humorous Quotes[]

  • Examine the thermometer before you warm up the room:
Akane Akane: This thermometer is sitting at -10 degrees Celsius!
Carlos Carlos: Christ! No wonder it's so damn cold in here!
Junpei Junpei: I remember there was a theme park once with a -30 degree attraction. Too cold for me...
  • Put the key in the lever:
Junpei Junpei: The key's in. I'm ready to pull the lever on your command.
Akane Akane: Why do you look so happy about this, Junpei?
Carlos Carlos: Too much anime? That does look like a lever that'd control a giant robot.
Junpei Junpei: Whoa, that's an old reference! You like to watch those too, Carlos?
Carlos Carlos: I like machines. My sister's not a fan, but she enjoys watching almost anything on TV.
Akane Akane: You truly love your sister, don't you?
Junpei Junpei: And now we're off-topic! I'm pulling it!
  • Turn the gas valve on the right side of the room:
Junpei Junpei: The gas valve on the wall is shut.
Akane Akane: Let's open it then! La lala la!
  • Examining the freezing extinguisher from the inventory:
    Junpei Junpei: A freezing extinguisher...
Carlos Carlos: It'll freeze things lickety-split.
Akane Akane: Uh, what? Why are you pointing that at me, Junpei?
Junpei Junpei: Ah, no reason... Just curious.
Carlos Carlos: You just wanted to see how she'd react, didn't you...
  • Examining the sink plug from the inventory:
Carlos Carlos: A sink plug. So does that mean...
Akane Akane: "We put it in the sink," then?
Junpei Junpei: It's too big to shove up your nose at least. I can't think of anywhere else to use it.
  • Plugging up one of the two sinks with the plug:
Junpei Junpei: I think the plug can fit in here.
Akane Akane: Oh, look look look! It fits super well, yay
Carlos Carlos: This cutesy thing is kind of creeping me out, Akane...
  • Turning on one of the sinks after the plugs have been inserted:
Carlos Carlos: The sink is plugged. And now to turn on the water...
Akane Akane: Oh my... It's flowing out over the side.
Junpei Junpei: The drainage ditch is right below it though. Don't slip and fall now
Akane Akane: Do I really seem that clumsy to you, Junpei?
Junpei Junpei: You CAN be absentminded. No one's 100% perfect, right?
    Akane Akane: ...Meanie.
